It must be that time of the year. The kids are counting down the end of school. The mosquitoes are nibbling all of our exposed body parts. The fireflies are flickering in the greenbelt. And our eyeballs are already red with chlorine. SUMMER is here!
Here are the true Olympians! Brad and Zach really got into the swimming during the Olympics. Brad kept telling me that he was in fact an "expert swimmer" like those guys on TV. The boys decided that we needed to hold our own Olympics "with medals and races and diving." We were all ready-- cupcakes made, invitations crafted, rules written out -- and then it rained and rained. But my OCDish little guys would not let me forget about the event. So, the first night the sky was clear, the Lund Olympics hit the pool. Let the games begin!
I loved this photo shoot above so I have to show off my little sweeties. I love the pinks, the tutus, the beads. I really love the moments of sisterhood that sneak in from time to time.
Hey, Commando!
Brad and Zach learned how to "go commando" this weekend when our laundry pile got a bit too high. Brad was a bit nervous at first but then he found the little secret really fun. I overheard him asking Zach, "Are you going commando?" "No, I found some underwear." "I am! I don't have ANY underwear on!" (Hop, hop, hop)
